Learn self-compassion skills over your lunch in the middle of your workday from the comfort of your home/office/home-office! This training takes place from noon to 1PM on Thursdays, and runs for 6 consecutive weeks.

This group provides you with skills to respond to life’s difficult moments with kindness, care and understanding. In this group you will learn about self-compassion research, practices, and meditations. There will be interactive activities, as well as both small and large group discussion, meditations, reflections, and practices.

After taking this course, you will be able to:

– Practice brief self-compassion practices to support yourself in daily life

– Understand the science behind why self-compassion is important

– Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism

– Handle difficult emotions with greater ease

– Manage caregiver fatigue and burnout

– Connect to your values and practices that work for you
